Coffee and food was very good. Staff, very friendly, but.........we waited well in excess of an hour for our food order to arrive. This seems to be a consistent theme in other reviews and should be taken on board by management. At 12.30 I overheard staff telling prospective customers that lunch service would not start for another 30 - 45 mins. I would think 12.30 is prime time lunch time!!!!!! My daughter did say that her almond milk decaf iced latte was the best she has had so well done for that one.
Not a positive experience. Food took 50min to arrive, when we asked after 30min they said 'oh it's on the way' instead of just acknowledging they'd missed our order. Then when we spoke to manager she stated food normally takes that long, even when two other tables that ordered well after us had received their meals.
So disappointing! We waited nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes for all of our food to arrive! When we asked how much longer, we were basically scalded with no real reply - just its busy, as if we should be grateful we are being served. I dont mind waiting for food, places are busy at it can happen but the customer experience was horrific. When we asked again, told 7-10 minutes. Another nearly 25 minutes had then passed..... By the time the food came no one was hungry after the way were treated by one staff member. All the other staff were so apologetic. The quality of food was also average, made worse for the rude staff member. Only half our group received their food, with another 10 minutes before the rest. The setting was beautiful, its a real shame. There was a similar vibe coming from other tables with no apology just attitude served.
Good location and average food. Great chips and ok burger sliders. Perfect for a quick drink and a really quick lunch with a nice view of the river. Not a good place if looking for a quiet bite to eat or a private lunch but OK if you are fine with the abundance of tourists and families using the water park next door.
So disappointingArrived at 11:50 with a large young girl greeting at the door. I asked to be seated for the lunch menu, she rudely explained that they would be serving lunch until 12:30, we understood and just would wait and have a coffee, she tried to send us away but we said no.Ended up waiting half an hour for someone to take our order after 12:30. While waiting in the sun we asked if we could move into the shade. They made it out like it was such an inconvenience considering there was hardly anyone there. Would never go back, the food either comes out scolding hot or cold and the staff are just rude.
