The woman behind the counter was very grumpy. Not a pleasant experience at all, especially with children who were excited to visit her shop.
Unwelcome, raised prices and disappointing. This used to be one of my favourite places to go in bright. However its changed, I could get my favourite lolly for $1.50 and this time its literally doubled in price. Also the staff didnt talk to me or my friend at all while we were in there (the only ones in the shop at the time) but greeted the next customers. With that said they do have a good range of sweets though and a tidy store.
Super Yummy could live in this wonderful old fashioned Lolly Shop. And the Lady who works there very helpful.
I see lots of attempts by the owners to justify their choice of racist decorations. I dare then to enter the 21st century, demonstrate some empathy and think outside their bubble, and remove these racist dolls. There's nothing charming about an old world that doesn't understand when racism is wrong.
