Truly the best pies in Victoria.. Our overseas guests were really impressed...
Without doubt the best pies we have ever eaten. Real chunks of steak, and the gravy is perfect. Having the best pies is one thing, however Gum Tree Pies are not a one-trick pony. I have found their coffees to be more than satisfactory, some of the best coffee in Bright. It doesnt end there; they also boast an excellent selection of cakes.As a bonus, sauce is free. Nice touch.
A fantastic family run business, with great food and atmosphere. The food is outstanding, but the staff make the experience special. A lovely cafe that is really worth supporting.
Pies so good we even had some from breakfast during our recent trip to Bright! I'm mostly vegetarian but I just cannot go past the steak and Guinness pie from here... My gawd noms galore!
Absolutel fabulous. By far the best pie l have had (Thai green curry). Cheese cake and iced coffee were both excellent also. I will definitely be returning to Gum Tree Pies next time l am in Bright.
